Reynosa Mexico Mission Trip 2006

wow...what can i say about that?

well if u wanna know details ill give them to you at a laiter time...but heres my top 10 for mission trip.

10.  i saw God in everyone on the green team...LOS BEGOTES!!!!

9.  i learned some spanish...from nothing to Ghasnatalla-a sharp blow to the neck...its a fun word to say...

8.  i got to be a witness to a little 4 year old boy whom i prayed with and he gave his life to Christ...YAIIYUH!

7.  i grew mentaly, spiritualy, and even physically i have noticed over the week...you wont know the difference about physical...but i do...lol

6.  C3X!!!!!  haha Alex Crow...inside joke of the green team.

5.  my faith in people has risen...and i know i have been struggling with that...

4.  I saw God work...litterally...our group prayed one day that our work site would have no sin...and we made a prayer to bind the devil so he wouldnt be present...and it worked...and yes...there are more insidences like that...

3.  i almost cried one day...actualy i think i did...the church we worked on made us the best mexican lunch and hot tamallies i have ever had...and they dont have much...at all...and they did that out of greatfulness...

2.  I witnessed a miracle on Tuesday...one that made me fall to my knees and cry...no joke...no joke at all...

1.  i think i finaly realised how much i can make a difference...and i think i did...cause you know why?  we saved about 40 to 50 people this week in all...and the best thing is...is that these people have nothing...and my friend told me that Reynosa is actualy one of the most dangerous citys in North America...besides Mexico City...the most dangerous in the world...but yet...dispite that...i actualy felt at home down there almost...cause dispite the gangs, drugs, prostitution, and all that junk...i saw the good in people this week...

like i said in the last entry...i had a feeling something big was gonna happen in my life...but i never thought it would be anything this big...

Faith is something that i have looked in the mirror and realized that i need to work on building up...

wow...that was hard to say...but honestly its kind of true...my faith seems to be slipping with every day that goes by...and quite frankly...i am starting to realize that thats what i need to work on in my life...

it isnt God...even tho i know i need to start living for him on a daily basis...but its also faith in others...like my friends and family...idk...its kind of hard to explain but im putting this out there now...

I have had my guard up for quite some time now...and i have finaly realized what my guard is...i didnt know what my "Guard" was untill today after school while i was on a run...it is my Faith...or lack of it...

i read my bible for the first time in a pretty long while...cause my Faith has been tested a lot with different things that have been happening throughout my life...and here are some quotes from my Bible that are awesome...because my bible is awesome and has quotes for every issue that needs help...

"Not believing in God after seeing the awesome things in nature is like not believing that there was a thinking, living being who painted the Monal Lisa.  You have to explain the work somehow"-Revolution Bible (NIV) that one doesnt relait to me...but it relaits to a really close friend of mine...here you go buddy...heres your answer...

yeah...

i think that the mission trip is gonna help me not only grow closer to God and all of his amazing wonders...but to build up my Faith in many aspects of my life...i guess my faith is being tested...and now i just have to keep my faith on rollin...

yeah i just want to say that my friends are awesome and thanks for sticking with me this whole time...

well...i just gotta say that God is awesome...even if i sometimes stumble and fall...

this has been an amazing weekend!

welp friday i went to the riverwalk with michelle and alexa...and id have to say that was quite a good time!  wow the toy store...

then yesterday i had solo and ansamble contest...idk what we made cause i had to leave early...then me and my dad worked on my car and got a lot done!  then me and joe went to the Metro school play!  yay!  me and michelle met up there and it was fun!  yay!

then today i got up and went to church and led worship...well we go into the highschool youth now...its kinda sad...cause now i have to leave Mark and Marsha and Bobby and all them!  grrr! 

but yeah it is amazing at the same time!  im sooooo excited!

have you ever had the feeling of anticipation that God is gonna do something big in your life in the near future?  its really awesome...like i believe that God has a plan for me in Mexico and is gonna draw me closer to Him and Mexico Mission Trip is only about 2 weeks away!  ahhh!  its like soooo crazy!  im really excited!

Dont become like everyone els...if everyone thinks your the biggest dork ever...dont change...its not gonna make a difference cause you know that there is someone out there who probibly thinks your the cutest person alive and doesnt care if you are "Mr Popular" or "Mr Nerd" or anything...if you find that someone...dont let it go...cause your probibly breaking someones heart other than yours if you do.....

well...i got big news...

I MADE THE UNION HIGHSCHOOL TALENT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok like this i found out is seriously huge...like...i auditioned by playing a song i wrote called Unanswered Questions on acustic and sang it...and since i made it i am in the vocal and instrumental catagory...but then there is one big catagory called the Music catagory...which is basically like the bands who play, singers, all that stuff...and then there are other catagorys also...but the one big winner gets like a huge cash prize and a bunch of gift certificates to places around tulsa...

but wait...it gets better...

well...i found out when the student council talked to me that there are gonna be recording contracters there...and if i win or at least do well and if they like me...well...i could have some free recording time with a real studio...

like seriously...i am SOOOO excited!  i have been waiting for an chance to show people what i got and now i do!  wow im soooooooo excited!

well other than that my day was amazing!  well that basically made my day amazing!

so yeah the Talent Show is on Thursday March 16th so yeah...mark your callendars and come and see me!

well...i love michelle sooooo much and she is seriously my...i dont know how to say it...shes my...shes my Miss Everything...if that makes sence...

God has blessed me sooooooo much this year...this year has probibly been the best year i have ever had...and i give credit to God for that one...

well i gotta go do homework, celebrate, practice my song, and then go to metro worship...ahhhhhhhhh im sooooooooooooooooooo excited!
